Dr. Gopal S Arora

Dr. Gopal Arora is a Phaco and Lasik Surgeon, practising in the city of Nagpur. He is the Director of the Akshar Eye Institute, which has three branches - on Dr. Ambedkar Road, Central Bazaar Road and Umred Road.

Dr. Arora has the MBBS degree and the postgraduate Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery (DOMS) as his basic medial qualifications. In addition he is a Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Ophthalmology, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Health (FRSH), London.

Having begun professional practice in 1998, Dr. Gopal Arora is well versed in all aspects of Ophthalmology. Besides his clinical commitments, he has also been actively involved in several medical associations and bodies, holding senior positions within them at different times in his career, and helping in the organising of conferences as well. Dr. Arora is currently President of the Association of Medical Faculties.
